Attention
Sheltie Fanciers ~
We
are very pleased to announce a fitting closure to what we hope
is a wonderful week of Sheltie related activities at the 2012
ASSA National.
A
Farewell Gathering and Awards Presentation, where we will be
congratulating the winners, closing another year's National
and saying goodbye to old friends that we hope to see next year
in Albany, OR.
The
format will be the virtually the same as banquets in prior years.
It will include a short program after the meal with introductions,
thank you's, judges’ speeches and gifts, and the 2011
Breeder Awards. We hope that the cost of $10 per person will
encourage all to attend. Remember it's not the food that's important;
it's the people and the memories that count.
This
event will start immediately following BOB and the Parade of
Winners in a separate banquet room at the Heritage Park. We
will have a cash bar, tables and chairs with lots of open seating
with room to visit. Food service will begin after the completion
of BOB photos. Dress is casual, so come as you are.
Service
will include a light menu of sandwiches, chips, dips, lemonade
and iced tea. As a special treat the ASSA will provide a sheet
cake and coffee.
